I don’t enjoy writing critical posts. It’s far too easy to fire reactionary shots after a loss, and all of us have different takes shaped by our own biases, prior knowledge and understandings. As a Parramatta supporter with a platform I…
Post Game Grades – Round 16 vs Rabbitohs
Parramatta Eels 12 Souths 30 Nobody drowned out there, so that’s something I suppose. The rest of the good relates to my watching this game on replay after going out for dinner, so I could watch the last 20…

ROUND 15, 2022 NRL TELSTRA PREMIERSHIP SATURDAY JUNE 18, 2022 EELS 26 defeated ROOSTERS 16 COMMBANK STADIUM Crowd: 21,757 What a turn around for the Eels from that Round 14 humiliation. The team wanted to show that they are…
From The Stands – June 21, 2022: Praise (Warren Smith Approval Pending)

ROUND 14, 2022 NRL TELSTRA PREMIERSHIP MONDAY JUNE 13, 2022 BULLDOGS 34 Defeated EELS 4 ACCOR STADIUM Crowd: 20,184 Wow, just wow. What can you say? That was an absolutely atrocious performance from the Eels. Though many had…
Post Game Grades – Round 14 vs Bulldogs
Parramatta Eels Why are you like this? As the only person in my tipping comp silly enough to tip the Raiders over the Broncos, the Parramatta Eels just saved me the indignity of being the only person to not…
Parramatta Eels Midseason Review
We have reached the halfway point for all three major grades in season 2022 and it is as good a time as any to reflect on records, results and the overall journeys of the Jersey Flegg, NSW Cup and NRL.…
