It is time to wrap up the 2026 Junior Representatives following campaigns that saw the Parramatta Eels progress at least to the second week of the finals in all four grades. Of course the headline act was the Tarsha Gale Cup and their dominant defence of their 2025 title but Sixties and Forty20 are joined by Steve Georgallis to defrief the Harold Matthews, Lisa Fiaola and SG Ball Cups as well.

For the females, that’s 8 in 17s and 9 players in the 19s. Extraordinary! I also think that there are a couple of unlucky players to miss out with the boys. We have some star 17 and 19year olds who missed out because the ages don’t align with the 16 and 18 age groups. But I’m still stunned that Hayden Bell didn’t get selected in the 18s.
