The Tip Sheet – 2023 Ep 67: A Game Of Cyclones; Storm & Dragons Loom In Key Matches

The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!

The Tip Sheet previews a critical weekend for the Parramatta Eels as the NRL travel to Melbourne while the NRLW are in Wollongong. Sixties and Forty20 break down each and every team and their corresponding game including the Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup.

The Flegg are battling to keep their season alive and need to quell the Storm in a contest that is essentially worth 4 points on the ladder. Elsewhere, the NSW Cup receive another shot of youth as Charlie Guymer enters the fray. They take on the ladder leading North Sydney Bears in their den at North Sydney Oval but will be bringing energy as the youth take over continues in that grade.

No Rachael Pearson, no Elsie Albert…can the Eels find a way to bounce back from their Round 1 loss to the Tigers? The boys look at what needs to be done on both sides of the ball and who needs to step up as Parramatta take on the St George Illawarra Dragons.

Finally we have the NRL where Parramatta go from the furthest reaches North in Townsville all the way down South to Melbourne to take on the Storm. With a congested battle for the Top 8 and Top 4 being waged across the NRL, a win here for the Eels solidifies their push for the finals significantly. Both teams are missing key players so who will prevail on Friday night?

No FTS tip but Lussick to celebrate his return to the NRL with a try and being part of an Eels victory.
