The Tip Sheet – 2023 Ep 03: Hodgson Makes Club Debut, Takes Out Top Preseason Gong

The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!

The trials are finally here! Parramatta and Penrith do battle in the preseason yet again but this time with more of an emphasis on depth and youth. The Tip Sheet loads up for all of the weekend action as Sixties and Forty20 preview and massive Saturday of Junior Representative and NRL action.

First though is a reminder for all members to vote in the PLC Directors Election. Members will have until 5PM Thursday the 23rd of February to lodge their votes which can be done in person, by mail or electronically with a code provided to each individual member.

The boys discuss the latest in the stalemate between the RLPA and the NRL when it comes to the collective bargaining agreement before going on to discuss if there is any news on the Mitchell Moses front.

Junior Representative previews, Preseason Awards and the NRL Trial preview make for a meaty backend to the podcast as the boys prepare for the annual preseason Super Saturday.

Moses is no idiot. He won’t be going anywhere. As the great Peter Sterling once said, stay loyal and the money will come later.

    Hi Guys.
Loving the podcasts. Never miss one. A slight issue however. Not sure if its just my set up through Spotify but I find the balance of voices needs adjustment. 40/20 is much softer in volume and therefore I need to increase the volume to enjoy his words. Unfortunately 60s is quite loud which then impacts the household. This isnt a recent issue as it was the same last year. Any chance you could balance the voice volume between you both? Thanks in advance. Cant wait for the season to start. Lets set that 37 year curse free in 23.

Jeez. “2005”? The Tigers need to look forwards otherwise it will be 2022 for a long time. Even the years of always finishing ninth will seem like some golden age.
