The Tip Sheet – 2022 Ep 65: CommBank Stadium Super Ultra Plus Saturday Preview

The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!

It is a positively gargantuan Saturday of footy at CommBank Stadium this week with the NRLW kicking off their 2022 season alongside massive games for the Eels in the NSW Cup and NRL.

Sixties and Forty20 run their eyes over those three grades as well as the Jersey Flegg with the four games all taking place over a 6-hour block. On top of that it is also old boys day for the Blue & Gold as well as the Sounds West music festival. Suffice to say it isn’t your average Super Saturday of footy – hence the Super Ultra Plus tag!

Great call I agree with all you say . You can see it in the faces of the team in the 5th minute they just were not there.in last week game . Really interested in seeing the wiremu tackle were can you watch it .

I had hoped that the tackle might be in the highlights on the NSWRL site, but given the injury sustained it’s not surprising that it’s not there.

Great listen as always. It has been obvious that the Roosters and Broncos the standards for NRLW. The gap seemed to be in speed of execution and “crispness” of plays. At time last season while the Eels had the skills they seemed clunky. I’m looking forward to seeing the progress this season.

And the blokes need to win their game and win it will. There is no excuses for a another sub par performance. RCG first try scorer and Sivo to score a double.

Sivo is due a double after the Eels went tryless last week. Not only that, a double to Sivo would be one more try than we scored last time against the Dogs.

Yes you’re correct all this bs we didn’t turn up is just an excuse for Arthur not really knowing what’s going on.

I think we just need a new coach
Heaven help our club if one of our halves leaves and Jake is promoted to starting. We’ll get the spoon

Sixties or Forty is there anywhere online where I can see the Wiremu tackle?
    Sounds a massive hit.
    Cheers,
    Tony
