Make sure to check out the latest Parra Stories on this topic from Sixties!
Sixties and Forty20 had the privilege of sitting down with Bill Richards last week at Jacks Bar & Grill. Together the boys talked about his fascinating career in rugby league and the twists and turns that life took him on including national enlistment and a coaching clinic that was decades ahead of its time.
The discussion later pivots to a hugely important topic for the Parramatta Eels in the Blue & Gold Alliance. Bill explains the mission statement for the organisation and how they are not only preserving the rich history of the club but creating a support network for former Eels of all levels.
Theres a fair bit in this pod that we didn’t know before chatting with Bill. I hope that any of our listeners spread the word to check it out.
Best tip sheet in ages, the hour just flew by. A passionate eel is Billy.
Cheers PT&T. I enjoyed being on location for the recording. It meant being face to face with Bill and Forty. And Bill is so intelligent and articulate. He joined us during his lunch hour. Needless to say we wanted to keep picking his brain even though we had to wind up.
