Matt Brady (Pathway & Participation Manager) is back to talk about the state of the junior district for the Parramatta Eels in this episode of The Tip Sheet. Both the code and the district has worn two of the toughest years ever following the ravages of COVID, Brady talks the boys through the new initiatives designed to drive participation rates and the level of competition.
Speaking of junior footy, the Junior Representatives were unfortunately cancelled this week leaving the NRLW as the only action this weekend. Sixties and Forty20 preview the Round 2 clash against the St George Illawarra Dragons to round out the show.
I really like the tackle ready program – it just makes sense, and linking the 13s and up with Canterbury is essential to making the competitions more valid. Giving the kids the experiences at CommBank Stadium also promises to be a terrific day for those involved.
