The Tip Sheet previews what is left of the Eels in Round 7 as a catastrophic injury toll somehow worsens following the losses of Sam Tuivaiti, Kitione Kautoga and Kelma Tuilagi this week. Sixties and Forty20 analyse Sunday’s match up against the Canterbury Bulldogs and try to find a means for which the Eels can engineer the upset against once of their arch-rivals.

Thanks for the preview guys. Canter bury Parra in home soil? I hope not. Possible many Bulldogs players will show up thinking this shouldn’t be too hard after that Panthers game, I’ll take it easy as I’m sure the rest of the boys will win it for us – seen many upsets in this scenario. But realistically, given the injuries, I’m expecting a big loss, which I’m ok with if everyone plays committed and disciplined for 80 minutes. Please Parra no lazy frivolous plays – make Canterbury work for it, learn as you go, don’t make the same mistake twice, prepare for the future.
I feel the same way as The Parra Butcherbird; I’ve had the chance to-day to watch The Titans, who put fifty on us last week, stay disciplined and professional while getting absolutely thrashed by The Warriors. Gee The Warriors look good.
A question about their Chanel Harris-Tavita; apparently their second choice 6, currently without a contract at the end of the year, reputedly on low to middle money, has played 7 and 6 and is big enough to play centre, kicks goals. He’s a university graduate – Bachelor of Business.
Have we ever talked to his management to ask if he’s interested in coming to us? If not, I wonder why.
