    Great show gents, thank you.
You are all 100% correct. We absolutely don’t have years to build a premiership winning team.
We are blessed to have an elite halfback and cursed to have gaping holes in our roster.
Any chance of breaking our drought will evaporate when Moses retires or regresses with age.
Nothing matters but a premiership right now, all chips in, stretch the living daylights out of cap while we have an elite halfback.
We could literally wait a decade for another decent halfback to come along, we have one now, FFS, don’t waste him.
I hope Ryles is using this season to see what we have in our junior ranks and intends to go all in for the players he needs for next season.
We don’t have the luxury to “rebuild” I can promise the club the last thing any Parra fan wants to hear is to be patient. The crowd figures this year are already showing that fans won’t accept a “building” team.
It’s time Parra, go all in, after 40 years of disappointment, I mean really, everything has already been lost, there’s no risk big enough that could make things worse.

True to form, big news drops just after you finish recording.

Dylan Walker signs with us immediately

    1. Sixties

Darin, it never fails! It’s also a measure of News not leaking. If there was any sense that an announcement like this one of Walker was coming, we’d be tempted to push back the podcast. But as we learnt over summer, even when we mixed the days around, news would literally drop as soon as we posted.

    Great podcast as always

Just something to work on if I can make a recommendation – forties audio volume level is well below Chris and sixties. You gotta boost it up when he’s talking and then all of a sudden when one of the other boys jumps in you get deafened by the volume.

Probably just need some form of volume equaliser controlling everything

    1. Sixties

Cheers Brad, we discuss this quite regularly. Forty has the mixing equipment and equalises the audio throughout the recording and has boosted his own volume to as high as it will go. As we record, it sounds fine, and when I listen back I don’t have the issues. However, the feedback about the problem is consistent so we don’t doubt that it is problematic. It might be a case of bringing my volume down. We will talk more about it.
