The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!
The preseason is just about to begin in earnest as The Tip Sheet barrels into a Pre-preseason episode. Sixties, Forty20 and Clint start the show on a sombre note as they pay respects to former Eel Bob Bugden.
Jersey leaks, Sivo’s shocking speed and Mahalia Murphy’s run in SAS lead the Parramatta stories this week before the boys turn their eyes to the looming preseason.
In the NRL space, Sixties opens up discussions about NRL supporter numbers as Parra poll strongly behind Brisbane and Melbourne. Addin Fonua-Blake has stunned the Warriors by asking for a release from a long-term deal on compassionate grounds while Dallin Watene-Zelesniak has extended his time at the club. The boys look at the mixed fortunes for the NZ franchise and what it all means.
It has been determined that Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton faced false charges for fighting in public earlier this year. It is a serious topic with heavy undertones as the boys discuss what their likely courses of actions are from this point.
Looking forward to the preseason kicking off this coming week.
Looking forward to your reports and hopefully some decent signings that we need
Thanks Tanky. I’m keen to see some of the pathways fellas go on the learning curve of the preseason
Our reigning Jersey Flegg player of the year has left the club to join the Manly Sea Eagles.
Shock, eels let another play slip. Who was it this time? Lenaz or Parker?
Lenaz, and we have plenty like him, Moretti is a year older and a much better prospect. To be honest , Lenaz is another Yates, hard worker, really good team mate, doubt he’s a genuine NRL player.
What does a genuine NRL player look like ?
Looking forward to hear about Talagi, JBBM and Martin
Thanks for the podcast. It will be interesting to see when pre season training is in full swing if there are any noticeable changes in our defensive structures. While a lot of attention has been paid to our backline defence issues there were a number of games where the opposition seemed to run roughshod through the middle too.
