The Tip Sheet – 2021 Ep. 33 – Shaun Diviney Talks Short Stack & Supporting Parra

The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!

The boys have put together another bumper episode of The Tip Sheet ahead of Round 20 as special guests Shaun Diviney and Joey Grima enter the fray.

Diviney, lead singer of Aussie rockers Short Stack, talks to Sixties and Forty20 about his journey as a musician, father and fan of the mighty Blue & Gold. The wide-ranging discussion is plenty of fun through out and Shaun offers a particularly insightful answer when prompted on which Eel he feels is the key in our run to the finals.

The boys work through back-to-back guests as Joey Grima rejoins the show to take everyone the second NRL lockdown. As always, Joey’s perspective helps add layers of understanding to complex matters and it is no different here with the NRL in the QLD bubble. From there the boys discuss a hugely promising debut by Will Penisini, dip into the mail bag and go home with a discussion about Thursday night’s cracker against the Sydney Roosters.

Shaun makes an interesting and astute nomination for the player who might hold the key to Parra’s success this year. For those who are interested, Joey answers a listener question about the goal of Reed Mahoney’s long pass to the halves.
I found this a very interesting podcast to record.
