It is Magic Round and the Eels are taking on the New Zealand Warriors! The Tip Sheet convenes to break down the action on Sunday and the spotlight shines on a shock debutante as Jakob Arthur gets the call to replace Dylan Brown. Forty20 and Sixties go back and forth on the looming battle with an opponent that has proven to be highly competitive in 2021.

Before that though TCT’s resident club insider is back. Joey Grima joins the show to talk about the junior City representatives and tackle a burgeoning mail bag. Joey finishes up by sharing his thought on Jake Arthur’s journey to the NRL and what it represents for Parramatta’s junior pathways.

The week was certainly eventful for Parra and it started with Nathan Brown re-upping with the Eels for a further two years. The boys discuss the big retention and what it means for both parties. There are also the matters of Dylan Brown and Marata Niukore’s suspensions and the unusual circumstances behind Parramatta’s selection and training schedule in Round 10.

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the TCT Livecast of the Cup and Flegg action on Saturday!

Always a good listen, your efforts are very much appreciated.
Nervous about this game as I recall the wooden spoon Knights of 2017 when coached by N Brown putting a bit of a score on the eels when they were a top 4 side. Fingers crossed for this one.

Interesting scenario there T’d in th’70’s. I had my own forebodings without any substance prior to your recollection mate. Thanks but…No thanks, we are a far more consistent defensive footy team through the course of a match these days imo.

From recollection there may have been a very strange call or two from a certain ref in that game.

Cheers Trapped. I can’t put my finger on why I am a bit nervous. I shouldn’t be. Maybe that’s a good sign, because certain players are at their best when nervous before a big game, and it’s an indication that they’re switched on. Maybe I’m sensing the energy?
