Team List Tuesday – Ualesi Returns Ahead of Schedule

NRL Team List

In spite of several injury concerns and a two-week suspension looming over the head of Manu Ma’u, Brad Arthur has stuck the same script for the week’s NRL team list – can you blame him though? Still, there are serious questions marks over the health of Tim Mannah, Danny Wicks and perhaps Peni Terepo – who was a late scratching in Round 4 – while Manu will have to successfully contest a dangerous contact charge if he is to take the field against the Panthers. If there are any absentees on Sunday from the team named today expect Danny Alvaro to be a certain inclusion with the likes of Rory O’Brien, Kelepi Tanginoa, Cody Nelson and James Hasson jostling for any additional spots.

There are some minor changes to the Wenty team that went down to the Newcastle Knights in disappointing circumstances on Sunday. Matt Woods (?) and John Folau (foot fracture) remain sidelined while Keiren Moss is named to play but given his absence from last week’s game his participation could be a game-day decision once more. The most notable inclusion is that of tight forward Joseph Ualesi who has recovered from a back injury and will provide the Magpies with coverage in the front-row from the bench.

Forty, I’m expecting some changes to the NRL line up. If Wicks is out with an eye socket injury, it could be lengthy. Tim has a shoulder injury which could keep him out. Manu is the tricky one. I’d hope that we challenge it. I’d hope that the loss by Wenty was a wake up call for a few blokes. It was not the type of performance that would have pleased BA.

Alvaro would be a shoe-in for one of the spots if both Mannah and Wicks are out while Terepo is an just about an auto-inclusion pending whatever question mark lingers over his fitness. That leaves you with Manu, should he be suspended, getting replaced by Tanginoa or maybe Nelson?

Makes Sunday a bit of a trap game if we are down 2 or 3 first choice forwards.

Nelson before kelipi ,kelipi took 3 tackles to get back in defensive line ,that wont be accepted by BA .
