NRLW Team List
Round 11, Friday 5:40PM, CommBank Stadium
Heading into their final game of the regular season it is as straight forward a team list for the Eels as possible. Elsie Albert has been named to return from injury and start in the front row and that has pushed last week’s debutante Fontayne Tufuga back to the 18th player slot.
Steve Georgallis will be looking for a comprehensive victory over Parramatta’s Western Sydney rivals on Friday night but even with the prospects of a big win to their name, the Eels will still require assistance from the Canberra Raiders. Parramatta need Canberra to upset the Gold Coast Titans in conjunction with a win from the Eels themselves to sneak into the 6th place and thus secure a berth in the finals.
The club has also announced today that they are waiving all ticketing fees for this clash. So if you rock up to CommBank Stadium on Friday evening then you, your family and your friends can all enjoy the game for free!

NSW Cup Team List
Finals Weeks 2, Sunday 5:00PM, Leichardt Oval
As anticipated, Jordan Samrani has returned to the NSW Cup to aid their push towards the grand final qualifier. However, Nathan Cayless has lost the services of Bailey Simonsson for the must win game against the Raiders with the winger showing concussion-like symptoms in the wake of the loss to the Dragons last Saturday. It results a simple swap of the two players as Samrani takes over in the centres.
The Eels have not been able to bolster their forward pack with any more NRL experienced talent but with the Jersey Flegg campaign wrapping last week, Tyrese Lokeni is now able to step back up to reserve grade. He claims the final spot on the interchange bench.
If Parramatta can push past the Raiders on Sunday then they will regain the services of Wiremu Greig, who serves the final leg of a 2-game suspension this week. If they are to do so, the Eels will need to tighten up on what they offered against the Dragons on the weekend. While the Blue & Gold did well to stay within touching distance of the Red V, an inefficient completion rate bogged them down and give the opposition too many attacking opportunities.
It will be a huge test for a very young squad but an array of NRL aspirational prospects in the squad this is also a huge chance to rise up to the challenge and put themselves firmly on the radar of Jason Ryles.

Why Dean Hawkins not playing, more experience in the halves.
He had been injured, but I’m not sure that he qualified after the number of games he ended up playing in NRL. I think we calculated he was one game short, but I could be wrong.
