It quickly became a frenzied Tuesday for the Parramatta Eels on the last TLT of the year for the NRL. Will Penisini inked an extension to the end of 2028 and was quickly joined in similar fashion by rising prospect Lorenzo Talataina while Jason Ryles has rewarded Dylan Brown with a CommBank Stadium send off against his future employers in the Newcastle Knights.
The Tip Sheet is all over it as usual as Sixties and Forty20 break down all the news from Parradise and the NRL as well as taking a peak at the finals rosters of the NSW Cup and the Jersey Flegg Cup.
So much to look forward to this week for Parra. Hopefully the fans get behind Dyl in his final game. Ultimately the win is what we all want and I’m sure we can finish the season with victory. On another note I wonder how Broncos fans feel about the antics of their players. Do you reckon winning excuses most idiocy?
Sixties,
Living in Brisbane I can tell you most people, and especially the younger ones, don’t care what Reece Walsh does he remains their hero. He could be the Yorkshire Ripper and they wouldn’t care as long as he plays well. If he doesn’t play well there is alsways some valid excuse apparently.
As for a few other Broncos there might be a tut tut here or there but is swept under the carpet. A typical one team town, even though the Phins have come to town. If there wasn’t a valid replaceable for Shibasaki it would have been hidden and forgiven.
