I’m more than a little deflated by this team to be honest.
Really, what is the point now in playing Dylan Brown ?
Surely the time was ripe to bring in Richie Penisini or someone else.
We have seen what Joash can do in the 6, why not see what someone else can do now we arnt playing for anything ?
Beating the Roosters or not beating them with this side is going to mean nothing moving forward.
It’s just a waste of a canvas to put kids under real world conditions.

I to can not see the sense of Dyl playing, Ryles says the future is now, well Dyl as much as I like him is not the future and by playing hi just proves Ryles isn’t a straight shooter but just a bullshit artist like the rest. We have nothing to gain from playing him but more to gain by giving a young player of the future experience in the NRL which benifits us next season.

Who would you put up against Toia?

Ryles has spoken honestly to all his players and told them uncomfortable truths. I think he’s been an excellent straight shooter. Simmonson wanted to play wing and is not playing, Russell is injured….So I’m not sure who else we have..

Well Richie Penisini for one or perhaps Twidle or Navna.
I’m a big Ryles fan and I trust his judgement but are we saying that throwing one of the kids into the fray will unduly damage them ?
Perhaps they may aquit themselves well, which will give the coaching staff food for thought for next year or they will go bust but it will show them the level they need to get to.

What happens if Dylan has a storming game and we win handsomly ?
        What would that prove ?
What possible benefit for the long term would a win give us other than the ability to sing the team song ?
If we were in contention for something then thats a different situation and you play your best players which would include Dylan but respectfully, we are not.

Yeah Spark, I can see your thinking re: Brown. I hadn’t seen the players in Cup so Im not up to speed there. I hope we can unearth some diamonds soon.
