Live Blog – Junior Representatives Round 3 vs Wests Tigers & Western Suburbs Magpies

The Parramatta Eels hit the road and go to the South-West of Sydney this weekend in order to take on the Tigers and Magpies across the three junior representative grades. Round 2 victories for the Tarsha Gale and Harold Matthews gives both teams a solid momentum boost heading into this clash but they will both be taking on undefeated opponents in what will surely prove to be important benchmark games. For the SG Ball, they enter this weekend sitting at 0-2 and in desperate need of breakthrough need. In a fitting twist of fate so too do their opponents which means there will be two hungry teams meeting as they look to save their seasons even as early as Round 3.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it out to Camden today but I will still be providing score updates and the occasional game commentary as passed on to me by friends and associates who are able to be there!

Hey tct what happend to the juniors not going very well . The eels were always very strong I think we have gone backwards in these grades. We use to smoke teams . Bring back whoever was in charge before it went backwards.

That was a harsh call from you Anon before the matches were played yesterday – which meant only two rounds in!
Still, the Matts and Ball came up winless in round three and need to lift. It hasn’t been the ideal start to the season and I’m sure that the coaches and players are disappointed. To be fair, even though they need to do better, there were some head scratching calls yesterday that were critical to the results.
Credit to the Gale team who continue to improve.

Anon, you must be thinking way back, 2018 was the last comp we won, and that was the first in quite a while.

Does anyone know how the hell Parra let Myles Martin leave the club? This retention bungle will come back to bite us in the proverbial and then some!!

Hi Sixties. Tell me, do the juniors play the same football as the seniors or do they have their own autonomy on how they want to play? I would think how we want to play in the NRL is how we should be training our juniors to play and the style we want.
