The Tip Sheet is also available on Spotify and iTunes!

2022 is set to be a massive year for the NRLW and the women’s game in general. With two seasons of the NRLW, the Rugby League World Cup and a suite of representative games all crammed into 12 months, no other year has come close to the amount of action set to be delivered.

Sixties and Forty20 sit down with star recruit Kennedy Cherrington to talk everything about the upcoming mega-season of NRLW and her journey across coasts and codes to arrive where she is now. There is no doubt that Kennedy will quickly become a fan favourite among the Blue & Gold faithful with her wonderful personality while her candor and insight on the state of the game provide important perspective ahead of Parramatta’s inaugural NRLW campaign.

Sixties delivers his next chapter in the Parramatta Stories series as Ricky Orsina of the Seven Hills Kangaroos joins the show. The boys discuss the rumoured demise of the club (and as the saying goes how it was greatly exaggerated)and how they are looking to heavily bolster their ranks in 2022. The ‘Roos also have a particularly strong connection to the Parramatta Eels with the Green & Gold and the Blue & Gold sharing something important in common – Brad Arthur.

The show concludes on a sombre note with the shock retirement of Keegan Hipgrave. Forty20 and Sixties tip their hat to the young forward for making such a brave call and agree that he did the right thing by himself and his family.

i found it incredibly fascinating to speak with Kennedy. I was probably guilty of not being fully aware of the workload placed on the players next season. With the year ending with a World Cup, I trust that a proper break will be programmed for the end of 2022.
