In a fittingly bumper episode to herald an end to the regulation reason, Sixties and Forty20 go deep into golden point talking about the Eels, NRLW and the All Saints Toongabbie Tigers this week.

The show kicks off with the news that the NRLW will be delayed into the early months of 2022, setting up a double competition next year. The boys talk about the logistics behind the decision and what it means for both the ladies and the Parramatta Eels before tackling the next bit of news. Said news features some recent signing speculation for the Eels involving Blake Ferguson and Tyrone Peachey. Sixties and Forty20 explore the logic behind both moves and where Peachey’s best fit would hypothetically be for the Blue & Gold.

Even with the club resting a massive host of stars and core players for their Round 25 clash with the Penrith Panthers, Forty20 and Sixties have fun with the team list. The celebrated debuts of Samuel Loizou and Ky Rodwell are big reasons why but the boys are also keen to see more of Sean Russell as well enjoying a storied individual moment for Will Smith. This week also marks Brad Arthur’s 200th NRL coaching cap and the duo take a short moment to reflect on the milestone.

Finally, The Tip Sheet welcomes Tim Moggridge to the show to talk about the All Saints Toongabbie Tigers. Tim walks the boys through the sensational work the Tigers are pioneering for women in league in the Parramatta district as well as their important endeavours in mental health.

just a comment on some of the podcasts. When forty twenty is speaking I need to turn the headphones on full blast because of his calm and relaxing soft tones, then when Sixties comes on who must be 1cm away from the microphone and speaking like the audience is hard of hearing, it absolutely blasts my eardrums so hard that I drop my coffee and burn my nostrils with my cigarette. Guys you need an audio mixer because it’s like full throttle through my eardrums and I need to take a 5 minute break just get normalized again

Sounds like that issues may well be at your end, there are no such problems when tuning in to the podcast. The most informative podcast on the Eels out in the ether and none of the nasty personal attacks seen on social media sites.

Both Sixties and Forty20 dedicate so much of their personal time to keep us up to speed , it’s a pleasure to listen and learn. Here’s a tip,Sixties is almost a weekly guest of the Chris Warren show on SEN, discussing Eels news and providing info.

Eduardo, Forty has a mixer and we do our best with volume levels given our different equipment and locations. I’ll try to be a bit more aware as I sometimes move a bit closer to the mic.

Iwould like to say how lucky i/we are to have both you boys doing what you are doing ,that equipment that you use would not come cheep. It’s my understanding that that’s all personal equipment. Thanks boys

Listening in from Mexico after having recently discovered this fine piece of internet! A big thanks to Forty20 and 60s for the very informative and passionate discussions. GO the BLUE & GOLD!

A bit of All Saints history. In 2000 and 2001 Joey Grima took on his first head coach role in the Parra junior league with the All Saints under 14s and 15s. The team won the 1st division titles in both years and Joe then moved on to take the Parra junior reps with similar success..
