The NRLW are on the cusp of the finals but in an insane twist, even a win over the Roosters and the excellent 6-3 record that would come with it doesn’t guarantee them a shot at the finals. Kennedy Cherrington and Rachael Pearson were both honoured with awards as the show celebrates their recognition. Rory Owen has become the face of the Eels NRLW team.
She’s good looking and a wonderful athlete.
I mention her looks merely to comment on the fact that the Eels are already using her in marketing.
Notwithstanding that, she is just a rookie and the coach has commented that the world is at her flying feet.
I hope that we have been able to secure her in a long term deal.
The last information that we had was that both her and Rosie Kelly were unsigned for next year and this invites the new franchises, especially the Bulldogs, to swoop in and grab them.
Rosie is a talent. She has excellent hands but hasn’t been able to show her abilities like Rory.
Losing Rory would be a blow too steep to contemplate, she will be a star in league.

Spark, she absolutely hit the ground running and for a rookie that was amazing. You build teams around talent like hers.
