Any idea what times the flegg and cup trial starts?
Saw a bit of flegg training tonight before my training and they look decent

Flegg is about 12:30pm. Not sure about NSW Cup. I was told about it some weeks ago but haven’t had it confirmed that it’s taking place. It would be straight after Flegg if it’s on.

Listening to a few podcasts this week, there was a relatively common theme when discussing the Eels. Basically it was compared to most teams , the Eels don’t threaten from their 1 to 5 ( I don’t think Penrith do either ) , and that seems to be the reason why there is no confidence outside the club of success.

I think it was Joel Caine who simply said , they are at least top 5 in forwards and halves but bottom 5 in backs with not enough speed to threaten from inside their own half when compared to the top 5 or 6 clubs. That does take away the impact the 6 and 7 have in speed, but it’s something that would be good or needs to get addressed.
