It’s a privilege for TCT to bring you this special photo of Brad Arthur and his boys celebrating the Eels’ victory at the Auckland Nines Tournament. BA has created a real sense of family within the football department and the players regard the Old Salesyard facility as their home. What better way could there be for this family bloke to celebrate the win than with his two sons!
Both Brad’s sons are promising junior footballers. Jake (aka “the Snake”) has represented Metropolitan West Schools and NSW Schools in the PSSA competition. He is currently a member of the Parramatta Under 14 Development Squad. Matty (aka “Boods”) represented Metropolitan West Schools last year, giving a year away to most opponents. He capped off a great year by scoring the winning try in their final.
The Eels mean a great deal to this Parra family. I reckon we are in safe hands.
Sixties
Great pic! Great bloke! Great team! Parra2016!!
This man bleeds Blue and Gold, am so happy for him and the players!
With a bit of luck, minimal injuries and strong support from our fans, we are in with a real chance of shaking this competition up!
Regardless of what happens, we need to back our team 100% and stop the media rot and fickle fans constantly putting our beloved club down.
#oneteam……..
Thanks for the post & photo, great to see BA with a smile, & why not? Having a trophy such as this is one thing but with 2 beautiful boys with you to take in the atmosphere is another.
Well Done BA & all the best for the future & for your family.
God bless King Arthur and two of his future knights…errr EELS!
Great post and photo, thanks Sixties.
Nothing beats family!
It’s all about creating that sense of family at the club now.
Great to see young Jake’s called himself after his favourite 1 Eyed Eel and TCT poster Snake, this kids gonna go places with a name like that, my regards to Snake junior Jake and his bro Matty.
Great to see BA looking proud as punch and so he should be, looks like he has two great boys there, well done lads.
